I previously worked for the Ministry of Social Development, as Counsel for the Chief Executive (CYFS now MVCOT) and as a Departmental Prosecutor. In those capacities, I acquired extensive experience in Family, Youth and District Courts. I am a keen negotiator and excel at litigation.

My professional interests are in complex care of children and domestic violence matters, relocation and care and protection matters. I also have a special interest in international relocation matters involving children. I pride myself on being a pragmatic, solutions-focused negotiator, particularly when it comes to matters involving children.

I am a Family Legal Aid provider and I am currently accepting referrals.

I am a member of the independent bar but have extensive collegial relationships with other lawyers throughout the Auckland region. I can refer to other specialists within our Chambers if required.
